In other news, I'm thinking of leaving livejournal because of their new ToS... Or before they kick us out and send us to torture camps  for homos in Chechnya. Needless to say, we do not condone this and I'm starting to feel really unwelcomed here.
Another issue is where to go and how to format the new site. I've been struggling with html (just guessed what worked or not on lj somehow). So for now I'll be searching a new home. I'll keep you informed.

Yes, what's happening is terrible and I'm appalled there isn't much media coverage, at least here >.>
I wholeheartedly support whoever decides to leave, and I already have accounts in many other sites, wordpress, dreamwidth, tumblr, etc... You name it xD

Oh my.. Even LJ is into that crap now?? I'm soo disappointed... I'm not really a tumblr person, so I miss out shit tons of releases coming from tumblr based groups-- maybe drop by once or twice a year... Wordpress seems to have more original html feeling, totally browse-able, fully customizable, and neatly orgamized look. Wherever you land on though, you know I will be there~~~:*D <3

The new TOS finally gave me the push I needed.
I finished transferring the last of my LiveJournal over to Dreamwidth.
I'd really hate to lose all of my old LJ entries.

I'm only keeping my account here for a few communities and people I follow.
When they go, and I think they will, I'll purge my journal

Thanks for the release. I don't understand why LJ invoked the new TOS. I just hope that you don't move to Tumblr. It's too much like myspace for eyes and ears. dWordpress or Dreamwidth are good but will follow you where ever you go.

Thank you for all the hard work and for the release! As for the new ToS, a lot of groups are jumping ship to Dreamwidth. Guess DW will be the new LJ? ^^;; I don't know the more complicated html, but I know some basic stuff. It's been so long since I tried making a page from scratch though... Ah! Another thing I've seen some groups do is go back to using irc. It's old school compared to some other options, but I've seen that done too. Also I've seen a bunch of groups are on tumblr. Good luck figuring out what to do though. I know setting something new up and finding where to set up that something new is never quick or easy. Good luck!! XD
